The Arai Signet-X Helmet is the next evolution of the famous Signet-Q, and Arai has spared no effort in its design. It features a high-performance ventilation system with massive inlet and exhaust openings, as well as large switches that can be easily operated, even while wearing thick gloves. The redesigned chin curtain simultaneously blocks turbulent air from entering the helmet and creates negative pressure to exhaust more air.
The fully removable Eco Pure cheek pads of the Arai Signet-X Helmet include speaker pockets for easy installation of communication systems, and for the first time in the Signet series, Emergency Release Tabs. Each helmet also includes a VAS-MV (Max Vision) faceshield and a Pinlock 120 lens, providing a better view ahead.
The Signet-X's shell is Peripherally Belted with a Super Complex Laminate Construction, combining multiple materials and techniques created internally by Arai to deliver both performance and affordability. The shell has superb tensile strength due to a variety of carefully-positioned materials and lightweight resin.
The Arai Corsair X Helmet is exclusive to the Signet-X, featuring the VAS (Variable Axis System) shield and side pods. This system allows for a lower shield mount position than most helmets, and a dual-function lever releases both the side pod and the face shield for quick and simple face shield removal. The larger latch design provides intuitive and seamless operation, and the system captures and holds the face shield closed securely, while also offering a de-mist position to slightly crack the shield open.
The VAS MAX Vision shield provides excellent visibility in all seasons and includes a clear anti-fog Pinlock insert. The QVF and QVR upper ventilation ducts offer adjustment and airflow performance, and the vents are easy to operate with gloved hands.
The Arai Signet-X Helmet is Snell 2020 and DOT approved, and its cheek pads have Emergency Release Tabs.
