Arai VX-Pro4 Resolute Unisex-Adult Off-Road Motorcycle Helmet - Red/X-Large
This helmet's peak is 14mm longer and 5mm wider compared to the VX-PRO3. Larger relief ports allow more air to escape from under the larger peak, minimizing lift/pulling at speed. The chin vent incorporates expanded SS mesh, moved from the inside to the outside of the shell, providing more room to move the EPS chin liner forward and create more space in the face area. The chin vent features a round and smooth mesh cap, resistant to snagging and digging, and is easily removable with a single breakaway screw in case of impact. The Inner Mud Gate can be easily removed for increased airflow.
The liner components include FCS cheek pads with a larger surface area, wrapping under the jaw for greater comfort. A removable, replaceable, and washable neck roll pad, as well as 5mm peel-away cheek pads and temple pads, are also included.
The ventilation system comprises six upper vents, an upper and lower rear exhaust vent cowl designed to enhance airflow and vacuum exhaust, vents to assist in keeping the goggle strap centered and preventing it from sliding off, up, or down, and an upper rear exhaust vent set accommodating all five shell sizes. While the vent is fragile under crash impact, it is more durable against smaller contact.
The ventilation system features the same three basic chin intakes, two under-peak intakes, six upper exhaust, and two lower exhaust vents. The eye port trim and material have molded rubber trim across the top of the eye port, standoff ribs that help reduce liner wear from goggles while also providing a small gap for airflow, and molded goggle strap guides at either side of the eye port trim.
This helmet is DOT Approved and meets the FMVSS 218 Standard. It features red and black material accent colors for a tri-color interior. The Emergency Cheek Pad Removal strap label design is for easier use, with the label acting as a pull tab for the strap.
