The Arai Regent-X Helmet is a first-rate helmet that welcomes riders to Arai's exceptional build quality, materials, and design. Its redesigned opening makes it easy to put the helmet on or take it off. The PB-cLc shell construction is stiff and lightweight to meet Snell certification, with an intermediate oval head shape that fits those with heads that are slightly longer front to back compared to side to side.
The Peripherally Belted - Super Complex Laminate Construction shell combines multiple materials and techniques created internally by Arai to deliver both performance and affordability. The shell has superb tensile strength due to a variety of carefully-positioned materials and lightweight resin, and is available in 4 shell sizes. The helmet is DOT Approved and Meets FMVSS 218 Standard.
The Arai Regent-X Helmet features the exclusive VAS (Variable Axis System) shield and side pods, which allow the shield mount position to be lower than most helmets. The dual function lever releases both the side pod and the face shield for quick and simple removal, capturing and holding the face shield securely closed, and providing a de-mist position to slightly crack the shield open. The larger latch design allows for intuitive and seamless operation.
The VAS MAX Vision shield provides excellent visibility in all seasons and is Pinlock Ready (available separately). The Free Flow System (FFS) ventilation creates airflow under the helmet to reduce wind noise and turbulence while increasing hot air exhaust, with dual intake front vents, side exhausts, and a one-piece rear exhaust. The three-position chin vent and neck vent exhaust are easy to operate with gloved hands.
The Facial Contour System (FCS) offers a snug fit by using a foam spring support in the cheek pad that compresses and rebounds without excessive pressure. The fully removable and soft interior liner features a 5mm peel-away layer for a perfect fit, and includes speaker pockets. The helmet also has a non-removable chin curtain and a double D-ring closure.
