The XD-4 offers three distinct configurations that cater to rider preference or riding conditions. Arai's patented FCS Cheek Pad design delivers comfort and support, featuring an exclusive 5mm peel-away custom-fit layer. The larger, sculpted vents improve ventilation efficiency and helmet stability at speed. The vent has more intake ports for enhanced airflow, while the brow vents in the XD4 face shield provide airflow to the temple area of the head.
Arai's Dry-Cool technology ensures greater long-haul comfort by keeping the rider drier and cooler. Developed to facilitate easier access to an injured rider, the XD4's cheek pads slide out effortlessly via the integrated pull-tabs built into the underside of the pad, making helmet removal much simpler for trained medical personnel.
The XD4 boasts Arai's INTERMEDIATE OVAL (IO) interior fit shape, meeting or exceeding D.O.T. and Snell standards. Users should be aware that fluorescent and/or bright finishes may fade over time and with exposure to sunlight, which is a normal occurrence and not covered by warranty.
